Harvie and Hudson have developed strong relationships with a large number of suppliers over our first 70 years. As a result, we have been able to consistently offer our customers the highest quality products every season. We work hard to ensure that excellent quality is at the heart of our manufacturing process. Our QC team work within the factories to make sure our standards are upheld. As a brand, we are committed to creating good practices across all suppliers.

Our Shirts are traditionally made to a  Classic Fit or a Slim Fit silhouette which is narrower on the waist, while allowing freedom of movement at the chest and shoulder. Designed with our exclusive Kent cutaway collar also known as a London semi-spread collar, making it perfect to wear with or without a tie. We specify 16 stitches per inch on the seams and the sleeve is pleated 3 times as it is inserted into the cuff to make ironing a dream. These details are consistent throughout the shirt range.

Ready-to-wear Casual Shirts

Our Casual Shirts are manufactured in our European factories in Portugal and Poland mostly from Italian fabrics.
Our team chooses the fabrics and create the designs and these small family owned factories produce the finest Casual Shirts. The work is focused and detailed. Our product team has years of experience of weaves and craftsmanship to ensure to that quality is maintained throughout the process. These shirts are all limited edition with under 60 units produced of each pattern. Once they are gone we move on , so they are almost collectable.

Ready-to-wear Traditional Shirts

For the last 20 years, we have made our Traditional Shirts in our personally developed Indian manufacturing base. The worker’s years of experience in hand-sewing and their high attention to detail ensure that our quality is consistent. We of course use the same quality two-fold Egyptian Cotton fabric, cotton collar and cuff linings and Mother of Pearl buttons that we have always used since our conception in 1949. We are proud to say that whilst our production runs are medium size , they are not so big that we ever lose sight of quality.
