Ecommerce & Marketing Assistant   

  • Position: Part-time, 3 days a week (Monday – Friday)
  • Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)
  • Total Hours: 22.5 hours per week
  • Salary: £12.21 per hour
  • Location: Jermyn Street, London (near Piccadilly Circus)
  • Work Arrangement: Full time on site
  • Holidays: 24 days annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays

Overview 
We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic E-commerce & Marketing Assistant to support our growing Ecommerce and Marketing department. This role offers hands-on experience across digital marketing, website management, content creation, and customer engagement, with a focus on seasonal campaigns and product merchandising.
 
You’ll work closely with the Ecommerce and Marketing Manager, supporting multiple projects, learning the full e-commerce and marketing journey, and contributing to the growth of our luxury retail business.


Key Responsibilities  

E-commerce & Website Support
  • Assist with product uploads, including descriptions, images, and attributes.
  • Support seasonal campaigns, ensuring products and content are live on the website in line with campaign schedules.
  • Monitor website user journey and identify any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate simple website issues as required.
  • Maintain accurate data and assist with simple data migration projects.
  • Support paid media campaigns, email marketing, and social media initiatives.
Content Creation & Photography
  • Organise and correctly label photography files, preparing them for upload.
  • Assist on studio and campaign photoshoots.
  • Support social media video production by preparing sets and products.
  • Contribute content ideas and compose blogs or website copy reflecting campaigns and seasonal collections.
Operational & Customer Service Support (Occasional)
  • Pick and pack items for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
  • Check and respond to customer emails promptly and professionally.
  • Resolve customer queries or escalate where appropriate to maintain high service levels.
Team Collaboration & Project Support
  • Work with Ecommerce Manager to prioritise tasks, review progress, and provide updates.
  • Identify potential risks and escalate them to prevent issues.
  • Support multiple small projects and initiatives as required.

Required Skills & Experiance
  • Some experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, and social media.
  • Familiarity with website platforms such as Shopify or WordPress.
  • Basic IT literacy (Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Confident communicating with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, particularly in order processing and dispatch.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Friendly, approachable, and proactive attitude.
  • Interest in luxury menswear, digital marketing, and seasonal product campaigns.
  • Willingness to assist across different areas of the business when required.

Desirable 
  • Training in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or DotDigital.
  • Developing an understanding of Google Analytics, SEMrush, or other digital analysis tools.
  • Building photography, video, and general content creation skills.
  • Gaining knowledge of SEO, paid media, and campaign performance reporting.
  • Learning to use e-commerce order management and dispatch systems.
  • Developing awareness of customer service processes and CRM platforms.
  • Understanding inventory control and stock management procedures.
  • Expanding confidence in adapting to new technologies and digital tools.
