What are Bespoke Shirts?

Bespoke Shirts are Shirts made to the exact specification of the customer. They are designed from scratch and cut using an individually draughted paper pattern.

What is a Made-to-Measure Shirt?

A Made-to-Measure Shirt is a pre-designed pattern that is used to create your shirt to your measurements.

How much is a Shirt?

Fabric costs can vary widely, but a Bespoke Shirt starts from £325 with a minimum order of 4 and an MTM Shirt is from £275 with a minimum order of 2 Shirts.

What are your standard terms of payment?

We ask for a 50% deposit initially with the balance being due upon completion. This is both for a Bespoke and MTM Shirt.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, our Bespoke fitter shares his time between working in the store and the workroom and so you need to make an appointment for a Bespoke fitting. For a Made-to-Measure Shirt, it can be done during normal opening hours.

How many times will I need to visit you to have my Shirt made?

This will, of course, depend on how well we fit the sample and indeed how well the customer conveys his wishes to the fitter! Normally the initial sample is close enough to need only small changes, so 3 times at the most. Ideally, one visit is enough for a Made-to-Measure Shirt.

How long will it take to have my Shirt made?

It typically takes 4-5 weeks to make a Bespoke and Made-to-Measure Shirt.

What are your opening hours?

We are open from 9:30am to 6:00pm.

What is your house style?

The thing about Bespoke is that there is no in-house style. We start with a blank sheet of paper and the customer dictates the style. It is the same with Made-to-Measure Shirts, you have a wide range of pre-designed patterns to choose from.

How many cloths do you hold that I can choose from?

Too many! It can be a very overwhelming experience the first time you pick your own fabrics. It is a good idea to focus on the purpose of the shirts you want – what are you wearing them for and what with? That can help to shortlist, otherwise, the range of colours, patterns, weight, weaves and material can be confusing. But that is where we can help.

Where our your Shirts made?

Our Bespoke and Made-to-Measure Shirts are all made in London.
