Harvie & Hudson’s Statement on COVID-19
We are delighted to announce that, as per government guidance, our Jermyn Street Store will reopen on June 15th, with significant social distancing measures in place.
When we reopen, we will be monitoring footfall to limit capacity and ensure social distancing can be maintained. Till screens have been established and clear signage will direct customers and employees safely around the store, with specific doors designated for entering and exiting the building.
Furthermore, an enhanced cleaning program has been introduced, including hand sanitizer stations established across the store and at the entrance and exit points.
These are just some of the measures that have been introduced to ensure customers can shop safely at Harvie & Hudson.
Statement From Our Directors
There is no doubt that the past 3 months have been very challenging for us all, but as the social restrictions are slowly easing and we can finally see an end to this pandemic, we are delighted to be able to return to Jermyn Street and welcome customers old and new.
Certainly, things will be very different for a little while yet. Our first priority will be the safety of our staff and customers, so we will be installing screens at the tills, offering hand sanitizer and using masks and gloves while measuring, but the warm welcome and professional service will remain exactly the same.
One thing we have all learned during this difficult time is how to video-conference, whether it is business meetings from home, catching up with friends, or just the weekly family quiz, so why shouldn’t we use it to go shopping?
For those customers who are worried about traveling into the West End at the moment, but still need to look smart for their Zoom meetings, as well as the Online Store and Chat line, we are now offering Video Consultations with one of our experienced sales team, who can offer help and advice, so you can still get the Jermyn Street shopping experience from the comfort and safety of your own home.
